I`M GOING TO BUY YOU A BICYCLE

I'm going to buy you a bicycle, so that you enjoy yourself, so that

you dream while cycling keeping up with the demands of your starting age.

I want you to keep intact your fantasies beyond the shaky wind,

where starving children, without bicycles, don't, so far, exist.

Yes, I'm going to buy you one, I think, even though you may well have

a nasty fall and brake some bones. Ouch! But at least, you will awake

in time to see that just a bit of that will bring about

the exact amount of maturity you need.

Yes, I'll buy you one! though on the dole. I want you to be

like all the others little human beings. I want you to have

your worries up by the sun, out of your reach,

as you are still too young. In the meantime, until the future comes,

I want you to experience pleasant days,

without the slightest misery, without the shadow of guns.
