I’m going to you again,
on the road to you…
your ingénue smile,
your shining eyes,
your restless hands,
your enticing scents,
your fairy touch,
your hurried steps,
your ancient grieves,
your brand new joy,
the history shared.
As ever, I carry along
my bohemian soul,
a wide open hearth,
some used dreams,
the newest of hopes,
the greatest illusion,
a revamped trust,
the poetry retrieved,
the embrace urge,
the kissing hunger.
The will to stay forever
over your longing chest,
under your friendly sheets,
in your life’s best space,
in the pace of your steps,
on the iris of your days,
with this tenderness anew,
that used to be with you,
for the time I have left with,
to love you, just that’s it.
