My life

Many nights I have cried
Wondering what tomorrow will bring
However, I have faith in God
I know he will bring the peace of mind I need.
Life seems so complicated
Sometimes I feel like giving up
The more I try to live better
The more obstacles I come across.
People don’t make it better or
Maybe it is me, who doesn’t understand,
Who doesn’t know how to live or
who really doesn't care
I feel like I have done nothing
I’m tired and upset
No one seems to see the effort I make,
The sacrifices and the pain.
I try so hard to live in peace
As soon as I think I made it
I’m backed against a wall
I look for a way out, but I see no doors.
Why is it so hard for me to see the light?
Am I blind to reality or is this the way I’m supposed to live my life?
