There are things.....

there are things I feel the need to say
Rather than more days of silence keep
My fears sometimes my sentiments betray,
Telling me to put my thoughts to sleep
Ever since I have thought’s of you,
As though I were about to enter heaven
You seem so lovely, like a melody
That haunts me with the wisp of true.
I think of you, and so I won't pretend:
I tell you this that you might think of me.
I hope for you it's not too great a leap
To hear me talking to you in this way.
A single leap of hope must be allowed.
Yet now, I wait alone outside your wall
With my feelings standing tall
Not easily are shy songs sung out loud
And I will think of you. no matter
What I'm thinking of,
Something almost unimaginable:
The free devotion of another soul.
