I have to

go through the small group leader guide I got the other evening. Since my group is only 5 weeks I will do the first week as an intro and a very easy water bath canning recipe. Then alternate the remaining weeks with pressure canning. So the last session will be a water bath recipe which involves less close monitoring than pressure canning and that way we can try some of the goodies we've canned either on their own or in a recipe, or at least discuss the ways in which they can be used. It's just really an overall introduction to both methods. I have to include some Scripture. It could be anything really. Something the Lord's out on my heart. I'm thinking at least one passage will be from Proverbs 31. I am only having a max of 6 people plus me. So it'll be a small small group. I'm grateful for that. It's not the kind of thing that's easy to teach a lot of people at once. I have 3 already who I know will participate. So the other 3 spots will be up for grabs. We'll see who wants to come join us once we open up the registration on the day we have the small group fair (which will actually be fathers day). Headed to bed. I love you.
