Poema n.º 56

 ESTO ES SENCILLAMENTE UN HASTA PRONTO

Mi amada amiga de infancia, Mirella Rivas,

hoy has emprendido el viaje sin retorno,

el viaje hacia los confines de la eternidad.

Solo te adelantaste en tu encuentro con El Todopoderoso,

esto no es un adiós, es únicamente un hasta pronto.

Tu sufrimiento terrenal concluyó, amiga mía,

Ya en vida te hiciste merecedora del cielo,

de un lugar privilegiado al lado del Padre,

tu dolor te purificó,

por ello gozas ahora de la gloria infinita.

Tu recuerdo vivirá por siempre en todos nosotros,

en la mente de quienes te conocimos y tratamos

con cariño sincero, con amor verdadero.

Vivirás por siempre en el corazón de tus hijos:

de Katherine, quien con entrega y abnegación te cuidó;

de Miguelito, de tus nietos, de Mónica, tu mejor amiga.

El  cielo acogió un nuevo ángel: TÚ,

desde el más allá seguirás bendiciendo a tus hijos,

nietos, familiares, amigos y seres queridos.

Presentaste fuerte y valiente batalla,

fuiste un digno ejemplo de fortaleza,

debes ahora descansar sin desasosiegos.

Sufriste mucho y siempre en silencio,

aceptaste con resignación los avatares del destino,

jamás te rendiste, siempre lista para el combate,

enfrentaste dolor, traición y enfermedad

con valentía y estoicismo,

siempre de pie y con mucho heroísmo.

Poem n.º 56-A

THIS IS SIMPLY A FAREWELL

My beloved childhood friend, Mirella Rivas,

Today, you have embarked on the journey of no return,

the journey to the ends of eternity,

you justbeat to  your encounter with the Almighty,

this is not goodbye, it's just a farewell.

Your earthly suffering ended, my friend,

Already in life, you became worthy of heaven,

a privileged place beside the Father,

the pain purified you

now for that reason you enjoy the infinite glory.

Your memory will live forever in all of us,

in the minds of those we met you and treat

with sincere affection, with true love.

You will live forever in the hearts of your children:

Katherine, who with dedication & selflessness cared for you;

Miguelito, your grandchildren, Monica, your best friend.

Heaven welcomed a new angel: YOU,

from beyond you will continue to bless your children,

grandchildren, family, friends and loved ones.

You presented strong and courageous battle

You were a worthy example of strength,

now you must rest without anxieties.

You suffered a lot and always in silent

accepted with resignation the vicissitudes of fate,

You never gave up, you always was ready for battle,

you faced pain, betrayal and disease

with courage and stoicism

always standing in and with much heroism.
