POEM # 37-A
Supplication
I come to you my divine Creator
in search of refuge, peace and love.
I deeply despair overwhelms
that can no longer my tired heart.
I have so much love in my heart for offerings
but the hypocrisy and wickedness of my neighbor
which walls are gigantic
preventing the flow rate as sea
Strengthens my faith, Beloved Father,
I want to be forever yours
and between your omnipotent arms
the rest of my life I want to be.
Give me enough peace
to forget and forgive my enemies,
those who never knew the term loyalty
and much less the meaning of the word love.
I wish to be able to cry, I wish I could scream
but not in this way my peace will achieve.
Give me, My Father: faith, hope, love, joy and devotion
to embrace my cross with resignation.
Take away from me the false prophets!
Take away from me who make of religion a business!
Take away from me who take God as crutch
and without right, to the rest they allow to criticize!
Give me the wisdom to encourage
to who seek in me spiritual support;
give me inspiration for with my words to reach
to those souls, who like me, suffer endlessly.
