POEM # 40 - A
FOREVER IN LOVE
I
Oh, how pleasing is to love forever!
It is what allows us daily dispel our sorrows,
such noble feelings shared
give us permanent motivation to live.
II
I was, I am and I will always be
an eternal in love with love;
and though that love was often evasive to myself,
impossible to deny that happiness and passion provided me with rage,
I
Love has to be enjoyed with intensity
because one day it goes;
then we remain, the beautiful memories of times shared,
sublime nights, eager whispers in our ears.
IV
Love is a dish that must be eaten hot
because when it got cool becomes depressing
to the point that to the sanest and most eloquent
could snatch the health from his mind.
V
Love will always be a balm for grief,
permanent energy injection,
the best antidote to sorrow, because it does not support the baseness,
but, by antithesis, strives to be a source of comfort and joy.
VI
Oh that is pleasing to love without borders!
Yes, freely, without chains or barriers,
no time, place or distance,
obeying only the anxieties of the heart.
VII
I will never give up to this lovely delight,
of feeling every day deeply in love,
because although sometimes the experience is devastating
I prefer to mourn for love,
than not to feel that I have been or that I am in loved.
That's me! An eternal in love with love!
